Editorial & Job Verification Policy
Last Updated: July 25, 2026 | Effective Date: July 2026
NGO Career Link is committed to maintaining the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and accuracy across all published job listings, career articles, and ATS evaluation tools. We strictly enforce verification standards to protect job seekers against recruitment fraud.
1. Verification of Job Postings
Every vacancy published on NGO Career Link undergoes strict verification before being listed in our database:
- Official Source Verification: Job postings are verified directly against official career portals of international NGOs, national non-profits, UN agencies, and institutional donor portals (e.g., USAID, Save the Children, IRC, WFP).
- Anti-Scam Protocols: We strictly prohibit job listings that demand application processing fees, monetary deposits, or personal banking credentials. Legitimate humanitarian and UN roles never require applicants to pay application fees.
- Expiration Monitoring: Job listings are monitored and archived automatically once application deadlines expire to ensure users browse only active opportunities.
2. Editorial Independence & Article Standards
Our educational guides, ATS resume writing tutorials, and sector analysis articles are researched and written by experienced non-profit HR specialists:
- Evidence-Based Guidance: All career advice incorporates recognized industry frameworks including the Sphere Minimum Standards, Core Humanitarian Standard (CHS), and MEAL frameworks.
- No Paid Bias: Educational content is produced independently. We do not accept sponsored article inclusions that compromise objective guidance.
- Fact-Checking: Salary benchmarks, grade scales, and donor compliance guidelines are cross-referenced with active recruitment data and verified organizational scales in Nigeria.
3. Data Protection & ATS Scanning Safeguards
When candidates upload CVs for ATS evaluation or cover letter optimization, we treat candidate data with utmost confidentiality:
- CV files are processed securely for text extraction and keyword analysis.
- Candidate resumes are never sold, rented, or shared with third-party marketers.
- Users retain full ownership of their submitted resume materials and can request account deletion at any time.
4. Reporting Fraudulent Listings
If you discover a job posting that appears suspicious or misrepresents an organization, please notify our editorial desk immediately at support@ngocareerlink.com. Reported listings are investigated within 12 hours and removed if policy violations are confirmed.
